From the Sticky Kitchen Floor to a Phoenix Rising
And there I was, sitting on the sticky kitchen floor where my toddler spilled his juice that morning. I was holding a poster board, desperately trying to map out a meal plan for my family using the little funds I received from the state. I hadn’t even had my coffee yet, and my head was pounding. The dishes were overflowing in the sink, the trash hadn’t been taken out the night before, and the weight of the exhaustion was entirely crushing.
I'm divorced now, but when I was married, I often found myself in this exact situation—trying to operate the entire management of our household completely by myself.
What I Wish I Knew Then
Looking back, I wish I could talk to that past version of myself, the one sitting amidst the crying toddler and baby, feeling utterly defeated and overwhelmed. If I could reach back through time, I would hold her hands and tell her:
No one can tell you that you can’t do this. No one is coming to save you—but the beautiful truth is, you won’t need them to once you realize how incredibly strong you really are.
You are the phoenix rising from the ashes. Where you are going, you won’t need to dwell on the past. You only need to learn from it so that history doesn't repeat itself.
Turning the Chaos into Clarity
I didn't just survive that season; I learned how to build systems that worked for me when I had nothing left to give. I learned how to manage a home, feed my family on a tight budget, and regain my sanity. Because I know exactly what it feels like to be on that sticky floor, I decided to take everything I learned and turn it into tools to help you skip the breakdown phase.
In my shop, I offer digital products born directly from these struggles. They are designed to take the mental load off your shoulders:
Budget-Friendly Meal Planners: To stretch your dollars without the headache.
Household Management Trackers: To automate your chores so you never wake up to an overflowing sink again.
Daily Reset Checklists: To help you find pockets of peace in a chaotic day.
You Are Not Alone
You might be the one saving yourself, but you don't have to walk the path in isolation. I share my ongoing journey, practical tips, and a whole lot of real, unfiltered motherhood over on my YouTube channel.
